Welcome to Luton and South Bedfordshire Local Development Framework consultation website.
The representation period on the Core Strategy: Preferred Options runs between 17th April 2009 and 12th June 2009. Following this period, the Luton and South Bedfordshire Joint Technical Unit will process all responses and use them to inform the development of the Core Strategy. The Core Strategy indicates in broad terms where development will take place, how much and what type of development will be provided for and how it will be delivered. It sets out strategic planning policies covering a range of issues, including housing, town and village centres, employment land, climate change, open space and transport.
